I authored the report which guided the team\u2019s development, and followed up with them to ensure customer data was integrated properly.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At 4 months I lead my first usability study and again authored a pivotal report.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the first year<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arranged meeting of teams from 3 countries which decided design direction for storage division for the next 4 years<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selected to travel internationally for Agile training<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Took part in 4 usability research sessions* (lead 2)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The First 3 years<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5 usability research sessions* (lead 3)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wrote definitive internal guide for conducting usability studies in IBM Storage<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Represented Storage at IBM EDGE conference, attended IBM Design Camp, conducted 2 customer shadowing research sessions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selected by division director as 1 of 2 designers to reassign to Priority #1 software offering &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/corythorpe.com\/site\/spectrum-scale\/\">Spectrum Scale<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>In March of 2016 I was promoted to <a href=\"https:\/\/corythorpe.com\/site\/spectrum-scale\/\">User Experience Designer<\/a><\/h4>\n<blockquote><p>(* What is a usability research session?
